Happy New Year's Eve...onward and upward!

New Year's Eve 2010, the ending to this year's journey holds so much for me.  I've grown on many levels spiritually and artistically.  I'm proud to say I achieved many goals I set for myself which means I have a whole new list to strive for in 2011.  There will be many wonderful changes and additions to my work and website.

It's been an absolutely incredible year of work.  So many bands and concerts and festivals I got to photograph!  I ventured into jewelry design this year and am thrilled at the response.  Music called me back this year and I can't tell you how awesome it is to be playing and singing again live!  "THANK YOU!" to everyone who allowed me to capture special moments in your life and those who did your Christmas shopping with me and for all the custom orders this year.  I'm happy to know I made something special and one of a kind for a lot of you! :)  It's a great feeling to share my love and passion through my art and my music and get the support in return.  All I've ever wanted in this life was to be an artist and be able to make a living at it.  God gave me these gifts and I don't want to let Him down.

I've welcomed new babies, witnessed new loves and marriages, made new friends, and I've had to do a lot of saying "Goodbye".  One special girl in my life in particular who has forever changed me and my family is my beloved niece, Tessa Anne Harris.  She's been gone since April and I still cry like it was just yesterday she was taken from us.  I've never missed someone so much for so many reasons.  She continues to touch lives and her life's work will never be forgotten...never.  I keep her picture where I work both at home and at my studio and that smile warms my heart and gives me strength when I need it most.  I'll get through because she's always with me.

I look ahead to 2011 with hope and optimism and I pray for peace.  I want to wake to hear "War is Over" and see our troops come home.  I wish all of my friends and family around the globe a very healthy and Happy New Year and more than anything else, I hope you know how much you all are a part of me and the memories I cherish and carry with me.  I love you all and pray for all good things for each and every one of you, always! :)
